Follow the journey of the Archer and Sun God known by different names in varied ancient lands he represented a deity associated with both life and death represented in his depictions showing him holding a bow with arrows in his quiver.
His arrows seen as either delivering the plague or averting the plague when released from the sacred bow of the Archer deity.
With the deity also seen as a protector of the flocks and the wild he was also seen as a Master of Animals figure a role, he served often depicted alongside the mistress of Animals deity both being youthful in appearance whilst both representing ancient hunter deities that developed globally by the hunter gatherer cultures as they migrated and populated all corners of the world and its varied continents.
When depicted they are shown with big cats and hunting dogs reflecting peoples battle with the wild and wild animals being able to control and tame the wild and wilderness around them.
Showing our ancestors sense of their own positions and a developing self-awareness and recognising the importance of the group and communication that would lead to the growth and expansion of both culture and societies as people settled in groups and the agricultural culture based on the refining of cereal crops and other important plants and trees was embraced alongside the domestication of animals
